You are about to take the first step toward
your studies at AU and you are in good hands!
Read, learn, and apply to join us. It’s easy, and
we are always here to support you.
1) Complete the application.
2) Upload the required documents, including proof of English proficiency.
3) Submit the application. Mind the timeline!
Your admission and registration process follows these steps:
1. Submit your application
To apply, you submit your application and the required supporting documents to the Admission Officer, who will guide you through the process and support you with any questions along the way.
2. Application review
Your application is reviewed by the Program Committee to verify that you meet the minimum eligibility requirements and that all required documents have been submitted.
3. Evaluation of the application file
The Committee evaluates your application file and supporting documentation, including your academic background, qualifications, and overall profile.
4. Interview stage
Shortlisted applicants who meet the requirements and have submitted the necessary documents are invited to participate in an online interview conducted by members of the Committee.
5. Evaluation and ranking of candidates
Applications are evaluated based on the submitted documents and the interview. The assessment follows the chronological order of receipt of applications.
6. Final selection of candidates
After completing the evaluation process, the Committee prepares the final ranking list of successful candidates and, where applicable, a list of runners-up. The final number of admitted students is up to forty (40) per year, while the minimum number required for the Program to operate is ten (10).
7. Enrolment at the University
Successful applicants complete the enrolment process within fifteen (15) days following the relevant announcement by the Program Secretariat, according to the instructions provided and by submitting any required documents and the relevant tuition fee deposit.
The following qualifications are considered positively but are not mandatory:
The total tuition fee is €24,000.
Tuition fees are paid in eight (8) equal instalments of €3,000: the first during enrolment and the remaining before the start of each semester. Payments are made electronically to ELKE AUTH.
At the application stage, a non-refundable application fee of €150 is required. Applications are not processed without proof of payment.
Upon acceptance, a non-refundable deposit of €1,350 is required and is counted toward the tuition fees.
Failure to complete enrolment and pay the deposit within the deadline results in loss of the offered place, which may be offered to the next eligible candidate.
Starting a new academic journey in another country can come with many questions — and you do not have to navigate it alone. Your Admission Officer will be there to support you throughout the admission and enrolment process, helping you with practical information, guidance, and everything you may need before arriving in Thessaloniki and beginning your studies.
